Sony – Workplace design, relocation and smart technology

At Sony, we gain unique insight into how they have created a modern, future-proof work environment – with a strong focus on design, user behaviour and technology.

We are welcomed with an introduction to the thinking behind the office design and layout, and Sony shares their key learnings from the relocation from Lund. You will also gain an exciting perspective on how Facilities is supported through digital solutions – including their internal startup initiative, Nimway.

The visit concludes with an overview of current workplace trends and selected key metrics on space utilisation and how employees use the office.

IKEA opens the doors to their inspiring work environment and invites us on a guided tour of their facilities.

We will also explore a key challenge for many large organisations: How do you make it easy for employees to find and book meeting rooms across multiple buildings – without complexity or system changes?

Tetra Pak – Future Work Experience and large-scale activity-based working

Tetra Pak in Lund is the company’s global headquarters and one of its most important hubs for development, technology and services. With more than 160,000 m² of facilities – including over 53,000 m² of office space – Tetra Pak works strategically with Activity-Based Working and their space management approach, Future Work Experience.

The strategy focuses on creating flexible, purpose-driven workplaces that support productivity, well-being and work-life balance – while also enabling customer value creation and the company’s sustainability ambitions.
